Job Description

Borderless is one of the fastest growing platforms for the organisation of hiring and remote work.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing scale-up at a crucial phase of growth and help change an industry for the better.

This is a new role is in our San Fransisco-based marketing team, where you will support the brand team on all things social. Your role as Social Media Community and Content Manager will involve engaging with our community and being the voice of the brand, planning original content and engagement ideas, developing a social strategy, and working closely with media and creative agencies to bring campaigns to life.

You’ll report into the Senior Marketing Manager. This is an opportunity to be our first hire working solely on Social Media side, join a fast-growing startup in the early stages, with a high degree of influence, and help us change an industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and have complete ownership of the social media strategy for the business. Defining how all social activity drives sales, brand, engagement across seller and dealer audiences, traffic and enquires, ensuring execution is optimised to support both short (SEO optimisation) and long term (brand positioning) business objectives.

• Be the voice of Borderless on our social sites. In doing so we want you to champion Borderless putting our customers at the heart of the conversation. We create win-win situations and we want to ensure this is effectively communicated.

• Inspire our teams and our community with engaging content and social campaigns.

• Collaborate with the marketing team and external agencies to amplify our brand campaigns through excellent content.

• Lead the social element of brand campaigns through creative input and reviewing media plans.

• Contribute to our data, ensuring all relevant data is utilised to full effect. Gather data that helps us deliver more effective marketing campaigns.

Requirements

What we are looking for

• You have significant experience as a Social Media Lead and online community management.

• Proven communicator on social media channels with the ability to hit the right tone, encourage conversations and interactions online.

• You love being analytical with experience in reporting and constantly optimising social media campaigns.

• You have hands-on experience with communications, community building and management.

• You have experience of devising and implementing strategies to grow social media channels and content management.

• You are able to liaise and interpret comms plans across the business to ensure this is integrated and amplified across all social channels.

• You have strong interpersonal skills and are able to build relationships with different stakeholders.
