Our Honest Conduct Principles

1. Suppliers, clients & partners (going forward referred to as Partners) are required to engage in forthright dealings with contractors, clients, customers, members, non-members, and other parties.
2. Partners are prohibited from knowingly making false statements, deceiving, or allowing others to form incorrect impressions concerning any aspect of their interactions with another party.
3. Adherence to truthful advertising principles is mandatory, and partners must abstain from making knowingly inaccurate claims.
4. All fees, profit margins, and charges must be transparently and comprehensively disclosed to contractors and freelancers before the conclusion of any contractual arrangement.

Our Ethical Behaviour Principles

1. Partners should establish, cultivate, and nurture business relationships based on trust, confidence, and respect.
2. Compliance with relevant legal requirements, both statutory and non-statutory, and official guidance, including any future updates, is expected when providing services.
3. Partners shall refrain from providing services that exploit vulnerable or underpaid workers, ensuring that all workers receive at least the national minimum wage for their hours worked.
4. Partners are committed to discouraging the use of opaque avoidance schemes with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and avoiding actions that undermine tax system fairness.

Our Compliance with Laws and Regulations Principles

1. Partners must uphold the spirit of all applicable human rights, labor laws, and regulations, treating all contractors, freelancers, customers, and others fairly and without unwarranted discrimination.
2. Partners will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation related to their business, including, but not limited to, legislation concerning equal opportunities, health and safety, taxation, right to work, money laundering, data protection, the Modern Slavery Act (where applicable), and competition.
3. Partners will ensure that their contractual documentation aligns with current statutory requirements in their dealings with workers, clients, and customers.
4. Partners will establish a procedure to ensure that any referral fees or other financial incentives paid to staffing companies, intermediaries, or other businesses in the supply chain do not violate the UK Bribery Act. Borderless expects all partners to follow best practices regarding such fees, ensuring all parties involved have complete transparency regarding payments made and received, and any incentives or gifts provided.
5. It is expected that any such payments fall within an HMRC Taxed Awards Scheme for both PAYE and NICs, are not paid in cash and are approved by the directors of the receiving business.
